Ben Lomond Mountain Bike Festival Cancelled
Unfortunately, we have fallen well short of the number of entries required to make the event viable and it is with great regret that LMBC has had to cancel the event. This event was to have been a major fundraiser for track maintenance for a number of riding trails in the Launceston area, and to see the Club lose a significant sum of money in pursuit of this aim is not something that, in good conscience, we could do. All online entry fees will be fully refunded.
The King and Queen of the Mountain stage of the event has been part of the LMBC calendar for many years and we intend to hold this race as a standalone event in April.
The organising committee, who have been looking forward to the event for months, are deeply disappointed that this decision has had to be made and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
